In the beginning there was nothing. So, God came down from the Heavens and said, ‘Let there be light!’ And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better. All the world rejoiced.

But as Time went on, God realised His Children weren’t happy, so He said unto the World, `Let there be the Internet’ And there was the Internet. And all were happy and praised Him for His Benevolence.

Then, as the New World got bigger and better and vaster and wilder, and as His Children became lost in the unbecoming darkness, God said, `Let there be Google, so that I may find my children and they, each other!’ And there was Google. And all was pretty damn good for a while.

But then, Google was empty and void in the wilderness of cyberspace, so He said: `Let there be blogs’, and there were blogs and all was well for a while. Well, there was much more noise than even He expected, but, well, what-da-ya-know?

But after a longer while, God became annoyed with the Great Good World He had created, and so spake thus: `Let there be Evil too, for without Evil and Wackiness and Intrepid Chutzpah, life is too boring.’

And here I am.
