What do you think the phrase ignotum per ignotius means? It is an explanation which is harder to understand than what it is meant to explain. Here’s another: Obscurum per obscurius–something obscure, by virtue of the still more obscure.
The more you know, the more you don’t know.

Just a random thought, but who was it that said “we keep learning more and more about less and less until we know everything about nothing”?
